Building a Collaborative Culture with G Suite for Education

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Culture is a way of thinking, behaving, or working that exists in a place or organization. Building a collaborative culture in a classroom is about establishing the norms, routines, and feelings of an environment where students feel supported in taking risks, valued for their insight and understanding of topics, and engaged and empowered in their learning. This session is ideal for anyone interested in discovering the collaborative nature of Google apps and harnessing the power of these apps for creating knowledge with their students. The session will give hands-on examples of how to use Google apps collaboratively in all subject areas. The session will provide tips on how to build a culture of communication, understanding, and accountability in a classroom. The audience will leave with a wealth of ideas, practice in how to implement those ideas with students, and resources for putting these strategies into practice.
