Beginning and Marketing your Makerspace

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Want to learn some ways to get students engaged in creating and exploring? Like the idea of hands on activities? This is the session for you. Come learn how to start a makerspace in your school, media center or classroom. We will look at what products to begin with that are budget friendly along with ways to organize and manage it once it is up and running. Makerspaces are STEAM focused and would be a great addition to any school or classroom. You can customize it to fit the climate and culture of the students and their needs. There will also be a demonstration/hands on time for you to check out some of my makerspace toys and tools.
